eSport: Morocco participates for the first time in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022
Casablanca – The Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FMRJE) has announced that the Kingdom of Morocco will be among the countries participating in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022.
Mandated by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) as FIFA’s privileged interlocutor on matters relating to eSport, the FRMJE took part in a process of integrating new countries that lasted several months and which ends today with the validation of Morocco’s file by FIFAe to participate in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022, the federal body indicated in a press release.
The FIFAe Nations Series 2022 pits member associations against each other in a 2-on-2 format on the PlayStation 5 console. Meetings and tournaments organized by the FRMJE will allow national coach Saad Bassy to identify the best players who will represent the Kingdom of Morocco during this competition, the same source said.
Morocco as a new country in the competition will directly access the FIFA Nations Series 2022 online qualifiers which will take place from May 19 to 22.
