The homicide case of Per and Veronica Orderud from 1999 won’t be reopened. The Readmission Fee says that is essentially the most in depth case they’ve had.
– As I perceive it, that is essentially the most complete case the Fee has ever handled, says Anne Kamilla Silseth, the fee’s chairman.
– Concerning the allegations and what the events have stated, and concerning the investigative work carried out by the Fee. Very in depth investigative work has been carried out, by way of questioning, doc assessment, info gathering, evaluation of latest leads and so forth, she says.
On Monday, it turned clear that the Fee had not decided that any of the factors for reopening Orderud’s case had been met. It took greater than six years because the Fee obtained the readmission petition of Per and Veronica Orderud till the choice has now been made.
Silseth apologized for the big period of time it took, however stated that a lot of it was as a consequence of a lot of requests from the convicts themselves for varied levels of investigation.
