This Wednesday the Secretary of Government, Cesar Craviotoand the mayor of Benito Juárez, Luis Mendoza, They met with neighborhood representatives from the Nochebuena, Ampliación Nápoles and Nápoles neighborhoods to explain the agreements established with businessmen from Plaza México and the Estadio Azul last Monday and thus evaluate the reopening of both properties, which were approved by the settlers.
Cravioto said that with the approval of the settlers to the established agreements, it will be up to the mayor’s office to lift the suspension in both buildings, however, he announced that the celebration of three events this weekend at the Blue Stadium has already been agreed.
“Saturday is going to playr Cruz Azul against Tigresthere is going to be a private event on Sunday; and Monday night will be women’s final at the Blue Stadium; Those are the events that are now firm,” Cravioto detailed.
For his part, the mayor of Benito Juárez stated that security and order are priority issues for his administration, which is why they will continue working hand in hand with the neighbors who were affected, as well as with the people who visit the district. , commonly in establishments adjacent to both properties, to safeguard their life and well-being.
The Secretary of Government stressed that after the events already scheduled at the Azul Stadium, they will consider carrying out activities in both buildings, as long as the agreements established last Monday are complied with, to which they added:
- Regulate the use of fireworks by the Civil Protection regulations of Mexico City.
- Carry out cleaning operations by the mayor’s office around the properties at the end of the events.
- Sectorize the area so that elements from different corporations have specific responsibilities.
- Implement a command post so that residents have a quick response to any situation.
Cravioto pointed out that after the scheduled events take place they will have a meeting with the neighbors next Tuesday to evaluate the compliance with the establishedand in case of non-compliance, a new suspensionbut in this case without the option of dialogue tables.
