Estelle Mouzin case: his father says he met Michel Fourniret in prison

by time news

While a “last march” was held this afternoon in Guermantes, in Seine-et-Marne, on the site of the kidnapping of Estelle Mouzin 20 years earlier, her father reveals that he met Michel Fourniret, shortly before his death.

In an interview broadcast this Saturday in the “20 hours” of France 2, the girl’s father explains that he saw “the Ogre of the Ardennes” in prison, hoping to “obtain answers” on the disappearance of his daughter, but this interview gave nothing.

Since the confession of Michel Fourniret, on March 6, 2020, excavations have been launched several times in the Ardennes forest in an attempt to find the body of the young girl. Died on May 10, 2021, he never allowed investigators to find the body of Estelle Mouzin. It was then these same investigators who offered to meet the serial killer.

Monique Olivier will be tried for complicity in kidnapping and murder

“He was unable to line up three words so it was useless, it was a wreck”, tells Éric Mouzin to journalists from France 2. He describes a “completely degraded old man”. “It’s not because now I know that she is roughly there that it will change anything (…). Of course we miss her body, of course we would have liked (…) somewhere to take care of her one last time, that’s obvious, ”he regrets.

Only Monique Olivier, the ex-wife of the serial killer, remains implicated in this case and should very soon be the subject of an order of indictment before the assizes, for having been an accomplice in the kidnapping and of the girl’s murder. Succeeding seven other magistrates, Judge Kheris had also succeeded in making him confess that she had accompanied her ex-husband on January 11, 2003 to Issancourt-et-Rumel (Ardennes) so that he buried the body. Before that, the girl had been kidnapped, raped and then killed in a house belonging to her sister. His partial DNA had been found on a mattress.
