Esther Rada releases her most personal song so far: “Millions”. The song is an open letter to her father, who has been apart from her childhood until today. This is the first time she writes a text in Hebrew, and the first time she writes directly about one of the most painful topics in her life.

Rada has already written indirectly about the complex relationship with her father, but this time, everything is on the table. After “ME FOR CRY”, and other songs in which she wrote about the subject between the lines, “Millions” comes straight from the heart, without hiding.

“Conversations with the pain open my heart, to a man who didn’t know how to have a home for me,” writes Rada, one of the most talented and intriguing female creators in Israeli music. “I was waiting for you to come back… and you never came home, to take care of the girl you loved.”

Words: Esther Rada, Mittal Michaeli, Eden Ated, Raz Koperman, Itai Tzuk, Gil Win | melody: Eden Ated, Raz Kuperman Processing: Roni Brown, Gil Feldman, Itai Tzuk Musical production: Ronnie Brown and Ithi Zuk

Words:

Conversations with the pain
They open my heart
For a man who didn’t know how to have a home for me
I remember a girl of dreams under the walls
I was waiting for you to come back
Be great in my place

And you never came home
keep the girl you loved
You missed everything I went through
It doesn’t come back

“Now this song is yours too” get ready to fall in love with Rosenzweig’s poetry

Like us there are millions, millions
And only you are like me, like me
You probably knew that there is Mimi who keeps watch

My children are growing up
There is a whole life between us
We have already paid for all the mistakes
And we changed
all that’s left
This is this moment here
If I could I would have already
Long time sorry

that you never came home
keep the girl you loved
You missed everything I went through
It doesn’t come back

Like us there are millions, millions
And only you are like me, like me
You probably knew there was someone
that keeps
I forgive
