The Etecsa Telepoint, located on the central boulevard of the capital of the province, celebrated its first 10 years of creation, on the 24th of July. Its workers and managers did not miss such a significant date and they were celebrated with an event held outside the institution, together with the public who were with them that day.
Leydis Alfonso Espinosa, Telepunto Communications, explained that there are plenty of reasons for celebration and joy among the group of workers, considering that the inauguration of the center took place ten years ago, within the framework of the National Rebellion festival. and when the province was the headquarters at the country level. In addition, because the building is a beautiful architectural reference in a very busy artery of the city and is considered in the remodeling plans made by Etecsa, to change its visual identity.
The communicator explained that the Telepoint is also a reference in terms of attention, because it is the only one of its kind in the province and therefore sets standards in the quantity and variety of services it provides to the population, such as the sale of accessories, . ownership changes, collection of telephone rates, marketing and activation of mobile and domestic shipping lines, among others.
The event was chaired by Yuri Vargas López, territorial director of Etecsa, who congratulated the workers linked to Telepunto and expressed his confidence in improving the services they provide and in preserving and the care of the beautiful facility.
Vargas López and Ángel Coto Valdés, head of the Artemisa Telecommunications Center, recognized excellent workers: Marilín Blanco Pérez, the only founder of Telepunto who continues to work in that center, with extensive experience as an executive specialist and as a brigade leader. In addition, the work of two other outstanding workers was recognized: Yaquelin Coello Morejón, head of the Commercial Group, and Jenny Llanes Illas, point of sale executive.
The performance of the Artemiseño wine tasting author José Sisto López was part of the activity. Workers from other Etecsa entities based in the municipality of Artemisa also participated in the event.
