Brussels: The European Union has approved the introduction of Pfizer’s Kovid vaccine for children over 5 years of age. Vaccination is permitted for children between 5 and 11 years of age. The announcement was made by the European Union’s Drug Regulator yesterday. The European Union (EU) has made a significant decision in the wake of a sharp rise in Kovid cases in Europe. The company has named Pfizer’s Kovid immunization vaccine for children. Pfizer claims that the vaccine is 90.7 percent effective against the Kovid virus, based on clinical trials in children.

Children should be given two doses of 10 micrograms at three-week intervals. The European Union’s Drug Regulator has warned that children may experience mild fever and body aches that last for several days after being vaccinated. In May, the European Union approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine for people between the ages of 12 and 17.
