Strasbourg decided to ban petrol cars in EU countries after 2035. This is part of the measures to reduce carbon emissions. The resolution for this was passed by the EU Parliament through voting. The EU member states have already passed the bill in this regard. Once approved by the EU Parliament, it will become an official law. The decision is to switch to completely carbon-free electric vehicles by 2050. Setting a target of 2035 is expected to give carmakers enough time to make technological adjustments.
