Faced with the need for workers in its companies, the region of Nogent-le-Rotrou (Eure-et-Loir) is in the process of setting up a voluntary professional training sector in the company. This district of Perche of 9,500 inhabitants, managed from the end of July by Jérémy Crabbe – successor to Harold Huwart (DVG), recently elected to the National Assembly – will transform the old luxury hat factory Tirard into home – training.

The investment of 3 million euros will be matched by the region of Perche, Center-Val de Loire region – under the power dedicated to “professional training” – State and private sponsors (especially TotalEnergies ).

On this good site, close to the train station, Sully business high school in Nogent-le-Rotrou will offer the first training courses, carried out with local companies in collaboration with National Education. Specify CAPs for maintenance technician, machine or line driver.

For professional retraining and against dropping out of school

Private players will also offer training tailored to the needs of the economy to workers and the unemployed who receive professional training. Finally, a manufacturing school will be opened to young people who have left school who will be trained on the machines of the main employers in the area (Valeo, Euro Wipes, B. Braun Medical, etc.).

At full capacity, this new company, which also includes a third place of expertise, will receive at the same time between 200 and 300 people. To develop, companies have a very strong employment area of ​​11,500 employees of is waiting a long time for such an application, that makes it possible to “attract young profiles and stop them in this area”, said Olivier Hourcade, director general. from wipes manufacturer Euro Wipes.

Harold Huwart said: “Elected officials and government officials heard what they are asking for businesses, who are looking for a solution to the exodus of the young people in the area, saying: “We face the issue of slavery. Young people go to study elsewhere without ever returning even though the local demand for work is high. » The new deputy has also retained his mandate as vice-president in charge of the economy of the Centre-Val de Loire region “to protect the interests” of Perche.

The opening of the training center is planned for no later than 2026, once the rehabilitation work of this industrial desert is completed.
