Marshall Glickman, the boss of the most prestigious European basketball cup, threw in the towel on Monday.
A small year and then goes away. Marshall Glickman, in office since 2022 at the head of the Euroleague, will not renew the experience. His contract expires at the end of July 2023. Beyond that, he should devote himself fully to his sports business consultancy company, G2 Strategic.
For a year, the American had formed a duo at the head of EL with Dejan Bodiroga. The relationship between the two men would have deteriorated over time, to the point where Glickman gave up on extending his term. The board of directors of the Euroleague Commercial Assets will therefore have to meet to appoint a new CEO.
