Holy recruit! Arrived this winter from Lorient, Terem Moffi did not take long before transforming the Nice attack. Thursday evening in the quarter-final first leg of the Europa League Conference, the Nigerian striker scored twice which allowed the Aiglons to lead 2-1 at half-time on the ground of the Swiss FC Basel. Above all, if his first goal – for the equalizer at 1-1 – is full of opportunism, his second is however a real masterpiece.
Well served at the penalty spot by a cross from Gaetan Laborde, Moffi did not hesitate for a second and rose to try a return on his left foot. The gesture is clear, effective, and ends under the bar.
With this double, Moffi scored his 4 and 5 goals with OGC Nice. Not bad for a winter transfer window rookie.
