Europe pays more for Russia than for Ukraine by buying fossil fuels

According to the Finnish research group CREA (Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air), Europe has spent 200 billion euros on Russian fossil fuels (oil and gas) since the attack began in February 2022, despite the call for restrictions. This is more than the total aid from the European Union and the United States to Ukraine which is 185 billion euros, shows online media Euractiv.
