Italian Institute Amplifies European Identity Through Record Erasmus+ Participation

A surge in international mobility programs is fostering a new generation of globally-minded students and educators at the “M. Alberini” Institute, solidifying its commitment to European values and cross-cultural exchange. The institute recently concluded its annual Erasmus Days, held from October 13th to 18th, showcasing the profound impact of the erasmus+ program on its community.
Expanding Opportunities for Students and Staff
The Alberini InstituteS dedication to the Erasmus+ initiative has yielded remarkable results. Last year alone,81 students embarked on journeys across Europe and even to Miami,Florida,for international mobility experiences. These opportunities were supported by 25 teachers, all aimed at cultivating crucial skills. According to institute representatives, the program is designed to “train language skills, improve their scholastic and professional education, acquire self-esteem and confidence, and encourage inclusion, environmental sustainability, digital transition, and participation in democratic life.”
The benefits extend beyond student travel. The institute also prioritized professional growth for its staff, wiht a training course held on the island of Crete focusing on digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies such as CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning).
Collaborative Projects and International Partnerships
The Alberini Institute is actively involved in several key projects, including “Inolang” and “Ewcora,” fostering collaboration with institutions in Belgium, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Romania, France (Martinique section), Spain, Greece, and North Macedonia. These partnerships are facilitated by the school’s and VET accreditations, as well as K2 “Zero Waste” projects.
A recent facts day, held on October 22nd at the Auditorium of the Province of Treviso in collaboration with the Europe Office and attended by councilor Sernagiotto, served to inspire further participation. “It was a party full of emotions and travel memories, useful to arouse curiosity and involve new protagonists of the Erasmus+ world,” a senior official stated.
Looking ahead: Growth and Competition
Building on this success, the Alberini Institute is poised for even greater expansion of its erasmus+ programs. The work of Director edi Brisotto and the Institute’s Erasmus Commission – comprised of Balzano, Desantis, Meccariello, Mini, Patané, and Rizzo – has been instrumental in securing new partnerships and increasing participation.
The institute is preparing to host partner countries for the “inolang” project in November and will launch new mobility programs in germany and France between November and December, involving 20 students. Furthermore, the Alberini Institute’s team is currently the leading contender in the international gastroerasmus 2025 competition, set to take place in Turkey.
