MOSCOW: European politicians have called on Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Selensky and the Ukrainian people to nominate him for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize. They also requested that the nomination process be extended until March 31, 2022 to allow them the Nobel Peace Prize nomination. The deadline for nominations was January 31.

The letter also called on European leaders to reconsider their nominations for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize. The letter was signed by 36 political leaders from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia. Other political leaders around the world have until March 30 to sign the letter. So far, 251 individuals and 92 organizations have applied for the Nobel Peace Prize. This year’s Nobel Prize announcements will take place from October 3 to 10.

Ukrainian President Selendowski, who has bravely resisted the Russian occupation without the apparent support of anyone, is also gaining great acceptance from other countries. This recognition is demonstrated by the Nobel Prize nomination.
