In the midst of a tour across various countries in the Old Continent, Eva Ayllón surprises her followers with the release of the live album “Emociones.” Recorded from a ‘on demand’ concert, now available for free to the public, the setlist of this new production is her heartfelt tribute to Peru and all Peruvians for the National Holidays.
“Happy July 28th dear Peru! From anywhere in the world you may be, I call on my compatriots to celebrate: Long live Peru! I invite you to listen and sing these beautiful songs from this album that speak of the virtues of our beloved Homeland,” states the awarded artist, who will be performing on July 28th for the Peruvian community in Milan, Italy.
Popular pieces from the criollo songbook that highlight the greatness of our country such as “Bello durmiente,” “Aplausos para el Perú,” “Y se llama Perú,” “Contigo Perú” and “Esta es mi tierra” are part of this musical gem composed of 19 songs, including festejos, marineras, and tonderos that invite you to the party.
“Emociones” also includes the song “De qué estoy hecha,” in the rhythm of vals and salsa, sung by Eva Ayllón together with salsera Daniela Darcourt; and the classic vals “Mal paso”, in cumbia rhythm, performed as a duet with Christian Yaipén, the lead vocalist of Grupo 5.
Endearing songs such as “Cuando llora mi guitarra,” “Alma corazón y vida,” “Ódiame,” “Nuestro secreto,” “Regresa,” “Propiedad privada,” “Que somos amantes,” “Huellas,” “Ingá,” “Raíces del festejo,” “Le dije a papá,” “Bandida,” “El tamalito,” and “Callejón de un solo caño”, among many others, are also part of the most recent album of the Grammy Award winner for Musical Excellence (2019).
