NOTICIACRISTIANA.COM- This past Tuesday (24), an unfortunate event occurred in a leisure area in Campinas (Brazil), when a 7-year-old girl, the daughter of a pastor, died after being struck by a tree, which fell into the Lagoa do Taquaral park.
The big tree fell on the sidewalk, hitting the little one, Isabele Tiburcio Firmino. “The blow from the tree, she hit her a lot in the femoral region, and she ended up going into hypovolemic shock on the spot, and she advanced until she died,” said the captain of the fire department, Luiz Fernando Marucci Bassin.
According to the G1 media, the girl’s parents, Pastor Sergio Firminio, and Gislene Firmino, were not affected, but the mother was in shock. “It’s a pretty big tree, we have many trees like that in the park, but the tree was apparently healthy, however, the ground was very wet, and the root ended up coming off,” added Marucci.
The Council of Pastors of Campinas and the Region issued a note of regret, lamenting the tragedy and offering condolences to the family of the religious leader, reported Guiame.com.
