“Evangelion” Concert Series Announces Performers, Ticket Lottery
For the first time in the history of the “Evangelion” franchise, details have been revealed about the performers for “BACK TO NEON GENESIS,” a unique concert experience designed to be enjoyed alongside video footage. The concert will feature a full orchestra comprised of musicians who originally recorded the iconic soundtrack three decades ago.
The Studio Legends Orchestra will feature Yuichi Tokashiki on drums, Akira Okazawa on bass, Fujimaru Yoshino on guitar, Yasuharu Nakanishi on piano, Novu Saito on percussion, Eric Miyashiro leading the trumpets, Osamu Koike on saxophone, Eijiro Nakagawa and Yoichi Murata on trombone, Tomoyuki Asakawa on harp, Daisuke Kadowaki leading the strings, Kanematsu Shu on arranger and keyboard, and Hitoshi Saito as manipulator. The orchestra will be conducted by Sagi Shiro.
