Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in any nation in the world has its difficulties, but when this involves a country with an Islamic majority, the situation can be much more difficult. Despite this, evangelist David Hoffman has reported great deeds from God through a crusade in Guinea-Bissau, a country located in northwest Africa.
The feats have been accomplished through an evangelistic crusade, even with 70% of the country’s population declaring themselves Islamic. According to Hoffman, even the president of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, who is Muslim, has been collaborating with Christians.
“I became aware of these actions through a video on social media that showed thousands of young people flooding the streets and singing the praises of Jesus,” said David Hoffman, according to information and CBN News.
“As I deepened my research and contacted the ministry responsible for these evangelistic efforts, I discovered incredible testimonies of powerful events taking place in the nation,” he says.

According to David, fellow evangelist Jacob Ebersole confirmed God’s actions in Guinea-Bissau. He made a point of getting in touch with his colleague to find out more information about this, which made him very happy.
“It is important to note that the president of Guinea-Bissau is Muslim, but he played a fundamental role in facilitating the holding of crusade meetings in Guinean territory,” said David, remembering that, unlike other African countries, such as Nigeria, Christians of the crusade in Guinea are not being persecuted.
The evangelist also said that the country’s president himself resolved bureaucratic issues to advance the crusade, organized by the World Harvest Mission (Missão Colheita Mundial, in Portuguese), and also participated in one of the editions.
“It is truly a testament to the power of God that the president of the country personally saw to it that the crusade began on time. And if that wasn’t shocking enough, he attended the first night of the evangelical crusade,” he concluded.
