Scenes of college students grabbing hair and attacking it on the road are spreading fast on the social website.
College students were standing at the Anna Nagar Roundabout bus stand in Chennai to board the bus. A student of a private college operating in the same area at the time was involved in a dispute with a first year student of the same college. At one point the dispute turned into a melee and they grabbed each other by the hair and attacked on the road.
It is said that both the students were attacked when I asked her why she was talking to her boyfriend in particular. Some of the students nearby took video of the beating on their cell phones and spread it on social media. The college administration is investigating the virality of this video. No complaint was lodged at the police station. It is noteworthy that the incident in which schoolgirls clashed at the Avadi bus stand during a factional clash last December caused a stir.
