Doha: Foreigners who do not have a World Cup ticket also have a chance to visit Qatar. In a press conference called to explain the preparations for the World Cup, Col. Dr. Jabir Hamad Jabir Al Nuaimi informed. Only existing match ticket holders can apply for Haya card to enter the country. However, the online application process for getting a Haya card to enter Qatar without a ticket has started from Thursday.
A fee of 500 Riyals will be charged from the applicants. Application fee is not required for those below 12 years of age. The application process can be completed through the Qatar 2022 mobile application or through the Haya portal. Officials have stated that the new procedure has been announced for everyone to participate in the various entertainment programs that will be held in Qatar in connection with the World Cup. Those without tickets will be able to enter Qatar after the group stage matches, which begin on November 20, are completed by December 2.
