In her turn, the Secretary of Educational Equity, Victoria Luna Murillo, expressed that “on this special day, we wanted to praise and greet all the community educators who work in the Community Education Directorate; recognize in this act the great work they do” and she pointed out that “educating is a great task that transforms, creates, and this is in line with what Governor Gerardo Morales has been doing for Education.”
Likewise, he indicated that “on this day it is so important to highlight that the task of the community teacher is not less, although they are within the non-formal system, but they have the same value as a teacher who is inside the classroom.”
In these lines he stressed that “the work of community educators is one of absolute responsibility and absolute commitment.”
