Bhaiyanakam is a 2018 movie directed by Jayaraj. Ranji Panicker and Asha Sarath played the lead roles in the movie. The film won many awards. But the film did not get the popular support it deserved. In an interview given to Ginger Media, Asha Sarath says that she is worried about it.
Not all the films we have done are financially successful. There is a sadness when good films fail. But it doesn’t affect me terribly. It should not affect my film or personal life. Our job is acting and our responsibility is to do it to the satisfaction of the director.
Everyone wants to see a film that we have made successful. But suppose it fails. It cannot be said that it will affect the next film. But as said before, there will be trouble. But it doesn’t matter.

Bhaiyanakam won the National Award for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and the State Award for Best Music Director. But the film failed to create any movement in the theatre. The main reason for this is that such movies generally have less audience.
The star’s latest film is ‘Khedda’, directed by Manoj Kana. The film also features Asha Sarath and her daughter Uttara Sarath coming together. Sudev Nair, Sudheep Karamana and others are playing other important roles in the film. The film will hit the theaters on December 2.
