On the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev in Baku, another concert took place within the framework of the “Yeni adlar” (New Names) project, dedicated to the memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, reports Day.Az.

The Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, conducted by conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov, performed at the evening.

Soloists of the program – laureates of republican and international competitions Narmina Ismailova (piano), Rustam Zeynalov (piano), Zarrin Aliyeva (violin), Khumay Hajizade (viola) and Ainur Abdullayeva (violin) presented a heartfelt performance to the audience, every note sounded perfect.

The concert featured the suite “Le Carnaval des animaux” by Camille Saint-Saëns, “Romance” for viola and orchestra by Max Bruch, “The Gypsy” by Maurice Ravel and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninov.

It should be noted that the “Yeni Adlar” project serves the development of modern Azerbaijani performing arts and the recognition of new talents in this field. Concerts of young performers with symphony, chamber and folk orchestras under the direction of famous conductors create an important basis for the development of young talents in the field of art.
