BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, Bangladesh has unfortunately created a division. Forgetting this division, everyone should come out of the division and work to establish democracy.
He said this in response to reporters’ questions after the BNP paid tribute to the coffin of Haider Akbar Khan Rano, adviser of the Bangladesh Communist Party, at the central Shahid Minar in Dhaka on Sunday (May 13).
Mirza Fakhrul said, this man (Hayder Akbar Khan Rono) has worked for the country, for social change, for the liberation of people, for farmers and laborers all his life. His departure undoubtedly created a void. The freedom fighter, as the organizer of the movement wanted to see Bangladesh; Unfortunately, he did not see that Bangladesh. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.
BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman paid tribute to Haider Akbar Khan Rano and condoled with his family Mirza Fakhrul.
