With stand up, concerts and the participation of 112 flower growers, the mayor of Alvaro Obregon, Lia Lemon announced the 167th edition of the Flower Fair 2024which will take place from July 13 to 21 in the San Ángel neighborhood.
“We will have 12 massive events, not just concerts. There will be Llairas, The best Sonora Dynamite by Lucho Argaín, Playa Limbo, Alberto Pedraza, Grupo Morsa, Mario Bautista, Grupo Mojado, Los Askis, Elefante and Bobby Pulido,” he announced at a press conference.
In addition to the flower sale and plants, attendees will be able to enjoy traditional events such as the rebozos parade, the contest of decorated balconies, the award ceremony for painting and poetry contests, highlighted the mayor.
The main stage will be located in the Bombilla Park “but we will also have activities in the Plaza de San Jacinto, in the San Angel Cultural Centerat the Museo del Carmen, at the Isidro Fabela Cultural Center, at the Parish of San Jacinto, at the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Studio House,” he explained.
For its 167th edition, the fair of the Flores It is expected to attract more than 60 thousand attendees, with an investment of 9.6 million pesos.
“Last year we had 60 thousand attendees and we hope to exceed this figurea. We also had an economic impact of 4 million pesos from the 2023 edition of the Fair, and we hope to surpass that impact,” he said.

“The Flower Fair is part of the cultural heritage, not only of our mayor’s office, but also of being the oldest fair in this city, last year it was achieved with the World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments, that it be recognized as a good international cultural practice,” Limón stressed.
