Silvan-Pierre Leirich married Barbara Ricci 25 years ago, but the marriage failed. Now the actor announced: He is taken again.
“Everything that counts” star Silvan-Pierre Leirich and Barbara Ricci tied the knot in 1998 and had two children together during their marriage. The two actors are now going their separate ways, as the 63-year-old made public last week. “I have been separated from my ex-wife for three and a half years,” he told the “Bild” newspaper. Shortly afterwards, the screenwriter made his new relationship public.
At the “Bild” race day in Gelsenkirchen, Silvan-Pierre Leirich appeared with his new woman at his side. “We have been a couple for a year,” he tells the newspaper. He met Nadine Engelfried on the RTL set, where she worked as a costume designer. There is a 28-year age difference between the two, but that is not a problem for the couple. “We are very interested in spirituality, yoga and meditation. We have very deep conversations every day,” says Leirich. The two don’t have a shared apartment yet, but they see each other almost every day.
Leirich and Ricci have a good relationship
There is currently no bad blood between him and his ex-partner Barbara Ricci, on the contrary: the actor and the 52-year-old will continue to maintain a good relationship. “We are friends, everything is going peacefully and well,” emphasizes Silvan-Pierre Leirich.
The most important thing is their children anyway. The former couple has a 22-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter. “Families can fall apart, they separate, they get divorced, but the relationship with the children remains as long as the universe exists,” said Silvan-Pierre Leirich in a recent interview with RTL. It is not yet known whether there will be a new partner in Barbara Ricci’s life.
