The iPhone 14 is just around the corner. Apple has announced that next Wednesday September 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Iberian Peninsula, will hold its traditional post-August launch event. The framework chosen, for several years now, to show the world the new version of its flagship in the field of telephony. And this will not be the only novelty that we can expect for the ‘keynote‘, named as ‘Far out‘.
According to the leaks, which have been going on for months, the iPhone 14 will come hand in hand with other new devices. Among them, one expects Apple Watchwhich could be available in up to three different versions, and possibly a few new Airpods Pro. The next iPad and Mac computers would be asked for at least one more month, at which time the firm of the apple, predictably, celebrates another presentation event.
Three or four iPhones
Whatever happens, there is no doubt that those who connect to the presentation on September 7 via streaming will do so with the main objective of seeing what the new iPhone 14 will be like. Unlike other years, there are doubts about the number of terminals that will make up the family, which could remain at three -in the event that the company finally decides to dispense with the ‘mini’ model, of smaller dimensions- or remain at four, in the event that, finally, it is fulfilled that forecast that indicates that Apple would launch a version known as Max.
Whatever happens in a couple of weeks, there is no doubt that the regular iPhone 14, as well as the larger and more ambitious models, the Pro and Pro Max, are safe.
In principle, the new family is not expected to receive much news regarding the iPhone 13. The most interesting changes, according to the leaks, would come exclusively to the iPhone 14 Pro y Pro Maxwhich would receive a new chip -the presumable A16 Bionic-, the always-on screen functionality, improvements in the rear cameras with the arrival of a new 48 MP sensor and a greater prominence of the screen by cutting out the rectangular module in which the front camera is collected.
The iPhone 14 that are not Pro would incorporate improvements in the “selfies” camera and, probably, would incorporate a new version with a larger screen than the normal model. What is not clear is whether, as is the case with the most ambitious versions of the family, they will incorporate a new processor or keep the A15 that the iPhone 13 and the most recent SE mount.
Watches for everyone
The Apple Watch should also receive a revision that, in addition, could be made up of up to three different versions. Among them, a cheaper SE, the normal Series 8, and, finally, a Pro designed for sports lovers that would be especially resistant and larger.
The watches would incorporate a new chip, the S8, and a functionality designed to take the user’s temperature.
New Pro headphones
Three years have passed since Apple presented the first and, until now, the last version of its Airpods Pro. And we have no doubt: it’s time for a new model. Predictably, they would receive a major facelift in terms of design. They would also improve sound quality and might even add some new functionality.
Before 2023
As we say, the presentation of the next day 7 is not the only appointment that we will have with Apple before the end of the year. With total probability, the company will announce a few weeks later the celebration of a second keynote, in which, surely, we will see new computers, as well as a revision of the iPad Pro and the ‘normal’ iPad. The first should incorporate the brand new self-made chip M2which offers such good results in the recent Macbook Air.
Before the end of 2022, or at the latest in early 2023, the company is expected to show its first mixed reality glasseswith which it would begin to compete with Facebook in the field of hardware that will make it possible, when the time comes, for this new virtual world known as metaverso cristalice.
