At launch, the maximum level cap for MW3 is Rank 55. This may appear relatively low, but history tells us that this cap is likely to increase as the game progresses through its seasons. Despite the initial absence of Prestige levels, there is hope that the developers may add them back in the upcoming Season One update, which is expected to launch on December 6. However, no official mention of Prestige levels has been made yet by the developers.
