Anyone who has suffered an illegal occupation in their home will be entitled to a refund. This was established by one of the latest amendments to the Maneuver, to be voted on in the Budget Committee in the Senate. In detail, the creation of an ad hoc solidarity fund of 10 million euros is envisaged to reimburse those who have suffered a violation of their domicile or invasion of land and buildings. Taxes on the house will be reimbursed to the rightful owner until the property is returned to him.
The approval of the amendment supported by the Brothers of Italy, was commented by Luca Ciriani, president of the senators of Fdi. We – he says – tried to use our opposition role to improve this text through timely and common sense proposals in the exclusive interest of Italians. And he adds: with regard to the illegal occupations of properties, we have managed to strengthen the protection of the owners who will be spared not only the damage but also the insult of paying taxes during the period of undue occupation.
