Manchester United’s young England player Mason Greenwood has been arrested following a complaint by his ex – girlfriend. The 20-year-old was arrested by Greater Manchester Police. This was officially reported by the police. The ex-girlfriend came out against Greenwood yesterday. Girlfriend Harriet Robson has been charged with rape and domestic violence. Harriet also released footage validating this.
Manchester United have announced they will not be joining the Greenwood club until further notice. The player does not train or play with the team. United said the club would investigate the incident voluntarily.
The woman shared the details of the sexual assault she faced in an Instagram post. The young woman shared photos and videos of bruises all over her body and blood-stained lips. The young woman’s post is captioned “Everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood is really doing to me”.
Greenwood and Harrier have been in love since school days. The couple split in 2020 after controversy erupted when Greenwood brought Icelandic models to a hotel room days after their England debut.
Greenwood has a contract with Manchester United until 2024. He has played 24 games for United this season, scoring 6 goals.
