According to Zerkalo, politics Andrei Dmitrievthe leader of the liquidated “Speak the Truth” and a candidate for the 2020 presidential elections, was transferred from the pre-trial detention center-1 in Minsk to the Vitebsk colony to serve his sentence.
It happened on June 28. On June 23, the Minsk City Court rejected the politician’s appeal and upheld his sentence. Dmitriev was sent to correctional colony No. 3 in the village of Vitsba near Vitebsk.
On April 6, Andrei Dmitriev was sentenced to 1.5 years of imprisonment according to Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code “Active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order.” Recently, it became known that the politician’s mother died, he was not allowed to attend the funeral.
