Ex-Tamil Councilor Palaniammal passed away Dinamalar

Sakayapuram-Tamil former Congress councilor Palaniammal passed away due to a heart attack.

As Yehumalai passed away as an independent councilor in Sagayapuram Ward in Bengaluru, his sister Palaniammal, 52, contested on behalf of the Congress and won.

He, a Tamilian, had a sudden heart attack early yesterday morning. His family admitted him to a private hospital in Seshathripuram.

But he died without treatment. People paid tribute at his house. The last rites took place at Periyar Nagar Idughat.

She is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters.
