Since his separation from Georgina Fleur, Kubilay Özdemir has had no contact with their daughter. A situation that the entrepreneur would like to change.
Georgina Fleur has repeatedly made headlines with her love life in the past. In her relationship with her ex-partner Kubilay Özdemir, there were often heated – sometimes physical – arguments. The couple separated in 2021, but remained in contact because of their daughter, who was born in the same year. A year later, however, Fleur completely called it quits. The entrepreneur also has no contact with his daughter.
But Kubilay Özdemir would like to change that. “I want to have contact with the child as soon as possible – sooner rather than later,” he told RTL. He has now been a sober alcoholic for two years and is now showing remorse for the alcohol excesses and violence in his relationship with Georgina Fleur: “I apologize for everything. May I be forgiven,” he says, adding: “Above all, I have changed myself. I have worked on myself.”
Even if he wants to see his daughter, that probably doesn’t apply to the mother of his child. “I won’t sit at the table with her anymore. That’s not resentment. That’s self-protection for the good of the child.”
Georgina Fleur made the decision to break off contact in 2022 after an alarming incident. “When he gave me that terrible black eye and a broken nose in front of the baby at home in my apartment, I said: OK, that’s enough,” she recently recalled on “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. Nevertheless, the fact that her daughter is growing up without a father weighs on her: “It hurts my heart when I think about how sad it must be to have to explain to my daughter that she simply doesn’t have a dad.”
