Exaggerated self-assertion: no compromises, annoying colleagues – am I over-autonomous?

JEither of us knows people who are exhausting: people who constantly report their concerns, vehemently express their opinion and need a lot of space for themselves. For whom it is actually impossible to cooperate and compromise. I recently had a client who messed with her superiors and also with her colleagues at every single one of her workplaces.

At the first job you might have said: “The chemistry wasn’t right.” But after her fourth dismissal, my client also had the feeling that she had to investigate the cause. She herself feared that she did not recognize the line between healthy self-assertion and annoying protest. Where did her inner resistance come from when she received an instruction?
