Adi Blewi felt a penetrating pain during a wedding at Psagot Winery, but noticed only a small scratch on her back. After 3 months of increasing pain, a CT scan revealed a bullet stuck in her body, which was apparently fired at her at the wedding

Doctors discovered a bullet stuck in the back of Adi Blewi, an Israeli citizen, as part of a medical examination they performed following complaints from her about increasing pain she began to feel in her body during a wedding at Psagot Winery, about three months ago.

According to Shahar Glick’s report at the GLC, Blau, who attended the wedding, felt a penetrating pain in the middle of the incident, but did not realize what the source of the pain was. She noticed only a small scratch on her back, which did not explain anything.

But after the pain worsened with each passing day, and the doctors had no answer, she was sent for a CT scan – and discovered a stuck bullet, which sat for three months near the spine.

The police gave her a “notice of hostilities” and it is speculated that the bullet (M16 rifle) was fired at Palestinians from the village of Muhammas, intentionally or accidentally, and hit her without leaving a prominent mark.

Now, she is turning to Social Security and asking to be officially recognized as a victim of hostilities.
