This time, police officers were spotted shooting at a jewelry store in the city of Ma’ar. Shortly after, two of the suspects were caught in the shooting while inside the vehicle, another suspect who escaped from the vehicle was later arrested after arriving at the hospital seriously injured. The serious incident took place around 01:00 at night when North District police officers who were patrolling the village of Ma’ar as part of the Shabbat quiet and security for the residents, heard gunshots and tried to make contact. When the police began chasing the vehicle, a shootout ensued between the suspects and the police until the vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
