Exciting Lineup Ahead: ESPN and Disney+ Unveil Summer Sports Programming Featuring Football Friendlies, MotoGP, and Major Tennis Tournaments

ESPN’s programming is filled with major events taking place around the world. The channel and Disney+’s schedule features European football clubs preparing for the new season in friendly matches, motorsport with the British MotoGP stage, and the start of the ATP and WTA 1000 in Toronto.

Additionally, ESPN’s and Disney+’s programming will include: football with the final of the Uruguayan Championship and matches from the Argentine Championship; the final stretch of the ATP and WTA 500 in Washington; alternative sports with the ESPN The Ocho segment; and daily MLB games.

European clubs are heating up for the 2024/25 international football season. ESPN’s schedule will feature friendlies from Lazio, Crystal Palace, and West Ham, with the major highlight being Harry Kane’s reunion with his former team in Tottenham vs. Bayern Munich. The match will be a live highlight on ESPN and Disney+ this Saturday (3), starting from 8 AM.

The world’s top motorcycle racers will be in England for the British Grand Prix. The stars of the Premier Class will be at Silverstone, one of the “temples of speed,” for the race taking place this Sunday (4). The MotoGP race will be broadcast live on ESPN 4 and Disney+ at 9 AM.

With tennis stars returning to ATP and WTA competitions, the 1000 tournament in Toronto will receive all the spotlight of the sport. The competition is one of the most traditional events in the men’s and women’s circuits leading up to the US Open, and will have live and exclusive broadcasts on ESPN and Disney+ starting Tuesday, with daily broadcast windows from noon to midnight.
