The Deputy Minister of Education made a special reference to the twelve changes that students, teachers, and parents and guardians will encounter.

With wishes for a “creative, interesting, and original learning journey,” the Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Zetta Makri, welcomed students, teachers, parents, and guardians back to school.

In her message for the start of the school year, Ms. Makri assured that everything is ready “to welcome, together, the most important day for the school community, the first bell, which will ring shortly.”

The Deputy Minister particularly highlighted the twelve changes that students, teachers, and parents and guardians will notice “from the very first contact with the school environment.”

“The appointment of 10,000 teachers, the program for renovating school infrastructure, the digital school and digital tutoring, interactive boards, the reformed content of the computer science curriculum and the new certificate, the platform against school violence and bullying, the new school operation regulations, the cultivation of reading appreciation through the teaching of complete literary works and the ease of multiple choices, the program for school career guidance, and the actions of Active Citizen are the milestones of the new school year,” she stated.

“Wishing you a good school year and… ‘mobiles in the bag’!” Ms. Makri concluded her message.
