The 2024 Apple Watch is rumored to come with several new things, including a thinner design, improved connection format, blood pressure detection feature, and a sleep apnea detection feature. According to reports from Mark Gurman, the new device will feature a new magnetic connection and will be able to detect the user’s blood pressure through the wrist. However, it will not detect systolic and diastolic values.
Additionally, the Apple Watch is expected to have a sleep apnea detection feature, which will be able to detect abnormalities in breathing patterns while sleeping. It will require measuring the user’s sleep pattern for a night and then making a diagnosis.
There are also rumors of a 10th-anniversary Apple Watch being developed, although it is not yet certain which year Apple will count as the anniversary year – 2014, the year it launched, or 2015, the year it went on sale. As a result, the 10th-anniversary edition may launch in 2024 or 2025.
The new Apple Watch is expected to debut in September 2024 alongside the new iPhone. Currently, the latest Apple Watch is the Apple Watch Series 9, so it remains to be seen whether the 2024 edition will be the Apple Watch X or not.
