Earlier, people had to wait a long time at the border check post for Kovid check. Those in Dubai and Abu Dhabi suffered the most from work and accommodation. With the deregulation, travel to both emirates will become more active.
The Abu Dhabi border check has been tightened since December 19, 2021. The decision to grant the waiver was made in view of the low number of Kovid cases.
