The independent Gate30 space in Rome opens to the public with the exhibition entitled “Geografie a filo” by the artist Diana Pintaldi (dianapintaldi.com), with a critical text and curatorship by Laura Catini. The painting is scheduled for October 28th from 6pm to 9pm. On the occasion of Rome Art Week, the Roman artist will open the doors of the space in Via Lima 30 for the first time for the inauguration of her solo exhibition, the result of artistic research made of encounters and influences, overlaps and changes in which the matter and the subject who is working on it go through the same process together.

“In the works, between meridians and parallels, a writing develops that speaks to the future, in which the past and the present coexist”, explains Laura Catini. “The dream of the border between space and time is that of a heroic journey in which – states Diana Pintaldi – actions and reactions outline our future”.

From 6pm to 9pm Pintaldi will present his latest works, inviting the public to cross a physical and experiential gate, opened by the artist exclusively for the opening, to give the spectator the possibility of intimately connecting to his research, perceiving the time of the places . “The function of the space will change at the end of the event – explains Diana Pintaldi – restoring her ordinary role and leaving a sense of déjà vu in the minds of the participants”. Other interested artists could reactivate the space-time gap of Gate30 with their future exhibition proposals.
