The exit poll results of this year’s parliamentary elections were published on Sunday evening at nine o’clock,according too which the Social Democratic Party (PSD) won the most votes to enter the House of Representatives,26 percent of the votes,the Association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) is predicted to take second place with 19 percent,and Save Romania association (USR) is next in line with 15.50 percent. The national Liberal Party (PNL) could also get 15.50 percent, the SOS created by the ultra-nationalist Diana Șoșoacă could stand at 5.50 percent, the POT bringing together the followers of Călin Georgescu could also stand at 5.50 percent, this party could be followed by the RMDSZ with 5 percent.
the order is therefore as follows in the House of Representatives:
- Social Democratic Party (PSD) 26%
- association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) 19%
- Save Romania Association (USR) 15.50%
- National Liberal Party (PNL) 15.50 %
- SOS Romania 5.50 %
- Party of Young People (POT) 5.50%
- Romanian Hungarian Democratic Association (RMDSZ) 5%.
The Social Democratic Party (PSD) won 26.10 percent of the votes in the Senate, the Association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) took second place with 19.20 percent, and the National Liberal Party (PNL) came next with 15.90 percent. Save Romania (USR) was able to get 15.60 percent,the ultra-nationalist SOS got 5.40 percent, the POT could also stand at 5.40 percent, while the RMDSZ could also enter the Senate with 5 percent.

Dr. Reynolds: Great question! Human journalists have the ability to provide context, emotional depth, and critical analysis that AI simply cannot replicate. Building relationships with sources, understanding local communities, and offering diverse perspectives are areas where human journalists can shine. There’s inherent value in storytelling that resonates on an emotional level, which AI struggles to grasp.
Editor: Yet, there’s a fear among some that AI could replace journalists altogether. Do you think that’s a valid concern?
Dr. Reynolds: It’s understandable to have that fear, especially as we witness automation in many professions. However, I see AI as a tool that can augment journalistic practices rather than replace them.It’s about synergy—journalists leveraging AI to enhance thier work, automate mundane tasks, and focus on investigative stories that require human intuition and empathy.
Editor: Speaking of investigative journalism,how do you see its role evolving in this AI-driven world?
Dr. Reynolds: Investigative journalism remains crucial; it’s frequently enough the backbone of democratic societies. With AI, we can analyze massive datasets that can uncover patterns or issues that wouldn’t be evident otherwise. However, it requires journalists to be skilled in data literacy and know how to ethically use these tools. The aim should be to build a collaborative relationship where AI can highlight leads, and the journalist provides the necessary judgment and ethical framework to pursue them.
Editor: Interesting! How can news organizations ensure they’re using AI responsibly and ethically?
Dr. Reynolds: Transparency is key. Organizations must be clear about how they use AI, including disclosing when content is AI-generated. They also need to establish guidelines that prioritize fact-checking and ethical standards. Ongoing training for journalists about AI’s capabilities and limitations is crucial, as well as fostering a culture of critical thinking.
Editor: That’s very insightful. As we look to the future, what skills do you think aspiring journalists should focus on developing?
Dr. Reynolds: Aspiring journalists should cultivate a mix of customary skills—like writing, research, and storytelling—with emerging competencies such as data analysis, digital literacy, and even coding basics. Understanding the ethical implications of AI and learning how to interact with AI tools can also provide a competitive edge.
