According to reports, the move is a prelude to the introduction of a new system for canceling the licenses of expatriates who have obtained driving licenses without complying with the required conditions.

None of the expatriates can renew their driving licenses, including those who currently comply with the conditions. Access to the automated system for license renewal is blocked. Over the past few days, many expats have pointed out that their licenses cannot be renewed. According to local media reports, the expatriate has been instructed not to renew expired licenses or accept applications for replacement of lost licenses.

Applications for renewal of licenses or other transactions are not currently accepted by the Traffic Department. Drivers of vehicles with expired licenses may face legal action in the event of an accident or other accident. The new decision has also affected locals as they cannot renew the licenses of those working as drivers and other employees. He also directed the traffic patrol teams to take action against those who drive with expired licenses.

It has been informed that the driving licenses obtained by the expatriates illegally and without following the required norms will be canceled from December 26.
