Preparing for release in early 2025, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will not impress fans with its battery capacity compared to its competitors. This was reported by the GSMArena portal with reference to the authoritative insider Digital Chat Station, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.
Despite the new trend for large-volume silicon-carbon batteries, the new product will not be able to offer a significant increase in this indicator. According to the source, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a battery with a capacity of 5450 to 5800 mAh. The predecessor, in turn, had a 5000 or 5300 mAh battery in the international and Chinese versions, respectively.
Probably, this decision by Xiaomi is due to the need to accommodate massive cameras without increasing the thickness of the device. Meanwhile, many competitors offer 6000-6500 mAh batteries.
According to rumors, the main camera of the smartphone will be represented by an inch sensor with an f/1.63 aperture, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with a possible 4.3x zoom.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also credited with receiving a display similar to its predecessor with slight roundings around the edges and the same resolution. Thus, the new product will be equipped with a 6.73-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Among other things, insiders claim that the smartphone will receive a case protected from dust and water according to IP68 and IP69 standards, as well as support for wireless charging.
