With just a few hours left until 2024, the New Year awakens a series of positive emotions and perspectives, bringing hope of good changes for most people, but also apprehension about events that may indicate signs of the “end of times”.
These signs, for scholars of biblical prophecies, accumulate over the years and become increasingly explicit. However, there are a large number of Christians who still ignore the evidence that points to the second coming of Jesus Christ, according to Hebraist Getúlio Cidade.
“For some time now I have been publishing about the prophetic signs in the sky, which most Christians still ignore. If we check the recurrence of these signs with the dates of biblical festivals, we will be surprised”, he told the portal Guide me.
Phenomena in 2024
By “prophetic signs in the sky”, Getúlio Cidade refers to astronomical phenomena. Some are already planned for the New Year of 2024, such as the penumbral lunar eclipse in the American continent, West Africa and much of Australia and Western Europe, scheduled for March 25th.
There will also be a total solar eclipse in the USA, Canada and Mexico, on April 8, and the “devil’s comet” scheduled for April 21, in addition to several other phenomena of a similar nature.
According to the expert, everything significant that happens in heaven, in light of the Bible, can be correlated with the prophetic events predicted for Earth. The current war between Israel and Hamas, for example, would be taking place in a context of signals.
“The war began on October 7, the last day of Tabernacles. The eclipse that came a week later, at sunset on October 14, was like an omen not just for Israel, but for the nations. The war against Hamas already has direct involvement from other countries, including world powers such as the United States”, explains Getúlio.
The possibility of a third world war, in this case, may be closer than ever. This eventual conflict, according to several eschatologists, would mark the rise of the Antichrist and the consequent return of Jesus to Earth.
