The panel discussion will be attended by former president Raimonds Vējonis, deputy chief of the State Fire and Rescue Service Ivars Nakurts, rector of the Estonian Business School, chairman of the board, rector of the Estonian Business School, chairman of the board Mēelis Kitsings, chairman of the board of AS “Latvijas finieris” Uldis Biķis and vice president of LMT Ingmārs Pūķis .
The organization will aim to improve the capabilities of Northern European citizens and organizations in the event of actual or potential natural disasters, terrorism, hybrid threats/grey zones, military activities or other anthropogenic disasters, as well as to promote greater resilience by strengthening threat reduction and preparedness measures, emergency response and business continuity and restoration.
The association will bring together experts, universities and organizations to implement resilience training, audits, certification, strategic communication, public mobilization and education, lobby for improvements in emergency management regulation, as well as provide assistance in the form of outsourcing to companies, institutions and citizens in real crisis situations.
