Dar Al Iftaa in Tripoli called on the officials in our country, especially the security and judicial authorities, to monitor the Christianization of some Libyan youth, and their involvement in an international Christianization network.

In a statement, the house stressed the need to deal with it firmly, and to impose a deterrent punishment on those in charge of it, or those responding to it.

Dar Al Iftaa clarified in its statement that converting to Christianity is an explicit apostasy, the penalty for which, according to Sharia and law, is death. It is surprising that this happens at a time when Islam is spreading rapidly and the great priests and missionaries are turning to Islam.

The house called on preachers, preachers, sheikhs, and teachers to carry out the duty of education and admonition, and warning jurisprudence, so that every shepherd who is fathers, mothers, directors of institutions, or heads of organizations and dignitaries of families, and every social incubator, knows that they are responsible before God for those under their jurisdiction, whether children, members or employees.

Dar Al Iftaa directed the media of all kinds to carry out the duty of awareness and alert, revealing these networks, and exposing them and those behind them who are in charge of them, from external and internal sides.

The Internal Security Agency had revealed a cell in the capital, Tripoli, aimed at Christianizing the Libyan youth, as a number of them were arrested, including Pakistanis and Americans, who were in charge of leading the Christianization campaign through English language schools.
