Palakkad: Yuva Morcha activist arrested in connection with 15-year-old girl giving birth. Ranjith, a native of Palakkad Malampuzha Anikode and Yuva Morcha Pirairi constituency office-bearer, was arrested. Malampuzha Police informed that they were exploiting by promising marriage.
The girl was admitted to Palakkad Women’s Hospital due to abdominal pain. The girl gave birth the next day. Malampuzha police started investigation on the complaint of hospital authorities and parents. Ranjith was found to be behind the exploit. Ranjith befriended the girl and exploited her many times by promising her marriage.
Police informed that Ranjith is an active worker of Yuva Morcha. The accused was produced in court and remanded. Yuva Morcha district leadership informed that Ranjith is not an active worker of Yuva Morcha and has been expelled from the organization based on POCSO case arrest.
