Detailed data by office are provided by the Ministry of the Interior, after validation of the results by the Constitutional Council. It is therefore possible that some canceled office results do not appear.
In the mass of data, those referring to the votes of people in detention have been aggregated into a polling station arbitrarily assigned to the 1is district of Paris. We have chosen not to aggregate them in our visualization. This vote of the detainees was the subject of a dedicated article in our columns.
Another peculiarity in the data: the derogatory polling stations. Following a 2021 ministerial circular, some detainees were able to choose to “ register on the electoral list of the commune capital of the department of their detention facility ».
The chief towns of the departments thus have polling stations whose low number of registered voters can sometimes be surprising in comparison with other polling stations. This is found, for example, in polling station no. 50 in Nanterre (92) or polling station no. 27 in Vesoul (70).
