1. Bloomfield

At the age of six my father took me to a football game in Bloomfield for the first time. I wore red from head to toe and became a Hapoel Tel Aviv fan. When I heard that a new stadium was being built and the old one was being demolished, I snuck in and photographed the demolition process. I love the way to Bloomfield, but not always the way back. What to do, that’s how it is when you’re a fan of the red team. Sports fields are very special places. I love the adrenaline, the tension, the sound and the fact that everyone feels part of something. As an avid sports fan, it is important for me to include all of these in my works. I draw inspiration from the rituals, the politics, the rivalry, the camaraderie and the hunger that exists in sports, and of course the coming together around a common goal – to win. Like professional players who go on the field, so do I when I take pictures. I am the water girl, the trainer and soulful actress.

2. Old Jaffa

In the last few months I found myself a lot in the old city of Jaffa, following the work on my new exhibition “Jaffa-Lod” at Mazal Magiz 5 gallery, and also due to my participation as an independent project in the recent Fresh Color art fair in the Jaffa port. There is something so exciting and special about wandering through the narrow alleys, the stone houses, the blue doors, and the sounds that play from the small windows. The view of Jaffa to the sea is perfect.

3. A place of meat

This is the hottest place to catch up on what’s happening in Israeli sports, besides it being an excellent restaurant. Nini the owner is like family to me and he helps me with all my projects. He is a smart and resourceful person, and if he wasn’t a restaurateur he would probably be an artist himself. When the restaurant celebrated its 10th anniversary, I photographed for him the label for the wine he produced for the celebration. Shabazi 64

4. the boulevards

When I lived in London as part of my master’s degree studies, one of the things I missed the most were the boulevards of Tel Aviv: Rothschild, Han and Ben Gurion. I love that each boulevard has its own coffee, atmosphere and people. Even the benches are different in each one. I found my best castings On these boulevards. There is always someone who catches my eye, the way they walk, talk, dress or what they do. Since there is a shadow, you can ask to stop for a moment, introduce myself and tell about my projects.

5. Jasmino

Well, of course everyone chooses it. And rightly so. I’m biased, it’s my beloved uncle Saul, ex Stephen Brown. He himself is a wonderful painter and I learn a lot from our conversations about art. And yes, I’m also standing in line. 99 Allenby

>> Today (Friday, 11:00) Noa Klegsbald opens a new solo exhibition called “Jaffa-Lod” at the Mazal Mezim Gallery in Jaffa, which focuses on the mixed football team Hapoel Bnei Lod. The project that will be presented at the exhibition was created during the tense period of the events of May 2021 and the “Guardian of the Walls” operation, and this is its first full display in Israel, together with a video work that was filmed especially for the exhibition. More details here. And now some spectacular works from the exhibition. Wanted:
